Designed and built the referral system for Hirevers, a growth feature that lets any user turn their network into new paying customers. Each account is issued a unique 8-character referral code (excluding ambiguous characters like I, O, 0, and 1) along with a shareable link in the format hirevers.com/hv/YOURCODE. The system tracks qualifying referrals in real time — counting only a referred user's first Business Account purchase to prevent inflated numbers from renewals — and automatically calculates tier progression, discount eligibility, and coin balances. Built a 5-tier reward structure where higher tiers unlock bigger discounts across more plan types, plus a Bitcoin cash-out flow once a user passes the payout threshold. The checkout flow was also updated to validate referral codes live, showing clear error messaging when a code is invalid or ineligible. The result is a self-serve growth loop that rewards existing users while giving new businesses an incentive to convert on their first purchase.
